Community
The best thing about coming to Kilvington for me is feeling part of its supportive and friendly community. Kilvington staff and students make me feel truly cared for and included, and I think that’s one of the most important aspects of school life.

Kilvington is fortunate to be supported by our dedicated and enthusiastic Parents and Friends Association (PFA), who organise many events throughout the year to bring our community together. These events include welcome picnics, morning teas, sausage sizzles, game nights, and so much more.
The PFA also oversees an ‘army’ of Class Social Representatives (CSRs) who create opportunities for classes and year levels to enjoy meaningful connections, manages our Food Cares program to support families in need, and runs our secondhand uniform shop (SHUS).
Biennially, the PFA assist our school to organise our Community Fair, where we welcome guests from the wider community to visit the School for a day of fun activities, and school tours.
Community Service
'Not for our own but others’ good'. Our school motto is the basis of our Community Service program, HOPE. Our program has three main aims, to educate, contribute and donate. Through acts of kindness, one can live their best life and help improve the lives of others.

HOPE | Humans Of Purpose and Empathy
HOPE is a Kilvington program with the aim to educate students about causes, their purpose and importance, how to contribute and participate in meaningful ways, and to fundraise much needed money and goods to such important charities.
Each Senior School year level is associated with a specific cause, with our Junior School participating in a charity event at least once a term.
Year 10 students participate each September in Connor's Run, raising thousands of dollars in the process. The Robert Connor Dawes Foundation battles pediatric brain tumors in the areas of research, care and development.
Our senior students rallied for Kilvington's annual Cut for a Cause, raising thousands of dollars for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, whilst our entire school community donated a massive collection of food.
Our Year 7s regularly participate in Eat Up Australia sandwich making sessions, bringing nutritious food to the one in five school kids experiencing hunger across Australia.
